Analyze Usage & Efficiencies

Before investing in a solar energy system, it's important to understand your current energy usage. Both of our local utilities (Bayfield Electric Cooperative and Xcel Energy) offer great online tools for monitoring your current energy use and expenditures. Log-in to your account and explore the resources available or check your printed statements.

Next, look for ways to reduce your energy consumption by implementing efficiencies around your home. There are many sites that offer tips and suggestions. Here are some options:
