Cheq Bay Renewables is proud to announce that Next Energy Solution (NES) has been selected to be our contractor for the 2019 Solar Group Buy.  With the success of the 2018 program, we have decided to build upon that success, and lessons learned, to make 2019 even better.  2018 proved to be the largest in the State of Wisconsin even though we represent a small community by population.  Yes, bigger than Madison, Milwaukee, Eau Clair, La Crosse; not per capita, bigger by size.

Here are some of the key facts about the 2018 Group Buy:

  • ·        547.5 kW of solar capacity installed
  • ·        85 contracts including:
    • o   12 businesses
    • o   4 municipalities
    • o   69 households
  • ·        Average size 6.0kW, Median size 5.6kW
  • ·        Approximately $1.3 million project

We almost have all the prices set for 2019.  They will be tiered like last year, so the more collectively-installed capacity, the cheaper the price for everyone.  In general, the prices will be even lower than last year and if we achieve the highest tier, we will see a 5% reduction in price.

If you have not already signed up for the 2019 Group Buy program, please fill out our contact form here.
